Establishment and Foundation Building: 1976–1990
This formative period coincided with the beginning of Japan’s IT industry’s transition from mainframe-centric computing to open systems. Founded as a specialized systems development company, HIMACS emphasized technological capabilities and human resource development by establishing dedicated research and development and human resource development functions.
Certification as a System Integrator by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) represented an important milestone in establishing the Company’s reputation for reliability and quality. It also provided a foundation for strengthening system development in the public and financial sectors.

The widespread adoption of client-server systems and the internet led to a rapid increase in corporate demand for IT services. During this period, the Company changed its corporate name and refreshed its brand identity. The acquisition of PrivacyMark and ISO 9001 certifications strengthened its information security and quality management capabilities.
Through its listings on JASDAQ and the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the Company enhanced its access to capital and expanded its system development business in the financial, distribution, and public sectors, including by establishing additional offices. The acquisition of ISMS certification further demonstrated its strong commitment to information security.

The growing adoption of cloud computing and smart devices accelerated the advancement of IT services. During this period, the Company strengthened its development capabilities, including by expanding the Minato Mirai Office, and enhanced its ability to undertake large-scale projects.
Its designation to the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2015 reflected the scale of its business and the trust it had earned. It also formed part of the Company’s strategy to remain competitive in developing mission-critical systems for financial institutions and public-sector organizations.

Digital Transformation and Market Adaptation: 2016–Present
The rapid spread of digital transformation (DX), AI, and cloud services marked a major turning point for the IT industry. During this period, the Company relocated its headquarters to Minato Mirai and established an advanced development environment.
Its transition to the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange reflected its strategy to strengthen corporate governance and pursue sustainable growth. The subsequent move to the Standard Market in 2023 was a flexible market selection aligned with the Company’s scale and business characteristics, demonstrating its focus on stable growth and responsiveness to customer needs.
